Marty's Music Store employs several full-time professional technicians. These are highly trained individuals using the best parts, tools and supplies available to provide you, our customer, with a quality repair as quickly as possible at a fair market price. In addition to normal overhead associated with maintaining an in-house repair facility, our technicians attend continuing education courses and seminars to improve their skills and keep abreast of current trends and techniques in the repair industry.
The current minimum shop charge is $25.

Brass playing condition:
Includes a thorough cleaning, replacement of worn corks, felts, and springs, Valves and slides are carefully cleaned and adjusted. Instruments are play tested. Only easily accessible dents are removed - no buffing or plating is performed.
Brass Overhaul:
Includes same as playing condition - thorough cleaning, replacement of corks, felts, and springs, careful cleaning and adjusting of valves and slides, and play testing of instruments. Plus, complete dent work, stripping of old lacquer, buffing body to a high luster, then a clear epoxy lacquer is applied and baked on. There will be an additional charge for excessive dent work and replacement of missing or broken parts
