Marty's Music Store employs several full-time professional technicians. These are highly trained individuals using the best parts, tools and supplies available to provide you, our customer, with a quality repair as quickly as possible at a fair market price. In addition to normal overhead associated with maintaining an in-house repair facility, our technicians attend continuing education courses and seminars to improve their skills and keep abreast of current trends and techniques in the repair industry.

Saxophone Overhaul:
Includes a thorough cleaning, all new corks, pads, and felts. Tightening and refitting of keys as necessary and replacement of worn or broken springs. Keys are polished to a high luster. Instrument is then meticulously reassembled and play-tested for intonation and tonal response. Plus, complete dent work, stripping of old lacquer and buffing of body to a high luster. Clear epoxy lacquer is applied and baked on. There will be an additional charge for excessive dent work and replacement of missing or broken parts.
Saxophone repad:
Includes a thorough cleaning, new pads, replacement of corks, felts and springs as necessary. Keys are tightened and instruments are reassembled as in the overhaul. No dent work or refinishing is performed.
Saxophone playing condition:
Includes replacement of worn pads, springs, corks, and felts as necessary. Keys are oiled and adjusted. Instruments are then play-tested to insure tonal response. Repairs of bent, broken, dented or cracked instruments are performed on a per hour basis.
Most minor repairs such as replacement of single corks, springs, or pads fall under the above category. The shop minimum charge will apply which includes adjustment and regulation of the entire instrument and playing test to insure proper tonal and mechanical response.
